Like the new hosts?
Mind you I got seriously irritated by the ads, 5 minutes of show, 7 minutes of ads. Agh!
I like the new test track, it's more challenging than the previous one and the 'bog standard car' was really clever (see a few of those around these parts ;)).

"Aussie Top Gear in battle for Ashes"
Fans will get their first taste if the rebooted Top Gear Australia when Chennel 9 screens a 90-minute Ashes Special on September 28.
The show will feature Aussie hosts Shane Jacobson, Ewen Page and Steve Pizzati going steering wheel to steering wheel with UK hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.
The hosts meet in a series of challenges including a drag race, shepherding, a rally and an upside-down race car.
In echoes of the long cricketing rivalry between Australia and England, the winning country will collect a Top Gear urn.
Other segments featuring Jacobson, Page and Pizzati include a race on the Isle of Man, where there are no speed limits, the British supercars including an Ariel Atom, a Radical and a rare Ginetta.
The Aussie trio will also trek across the UK in the worst British cars ever made. One is the 1960's electric car, The Peel.
Nine grabbed the rights to Top Gear, including the re-vamped Top Gear Australia, from SBS late last year in a reported $20 million-plus deal.
Fans were less than impressed with the SBS version of Top Gear Australia, which lasted two seasons and was a ratings disappointment.
Nine is yet to announce how many episodes of Top Gear Australia will screen this year.
- mood: chipper
Hosts will be Shane Jacobson (aka. Kenny), Ewen Page (TGA Mag Editor in Chief) and Steve Pizzatti. And it also seems like we wont have as many 'specials' and stupidity. Hopefully, more car reviews and 'The News' would be good.
Tickets are available for the audience HERE and it is again at Bankstown Airport.
Good news (here's hoping, anyway) for Australian fans - Top Gear Australia will be returning! From CarAdvice:
"It’s definite – Channel Nine has announced its intentions to bring Top Gear Australia back to our TV screens.
With the original Top Gear being one of its ratings winners when it was launched back in February, Nine is planning to cash in on its success. A spokesperson for Nine told media publication Campaign Brief, “We’re confident 2010 will be our strongest ratings year in the last decade.”
Six episodes are said to be planned, but as yet no details have been released on who the hosts will be, nor have any dates been set. Recent speculation even saw Shane Warne’s name rise to the surface.
So, with six episodes to win the public over, what does Nine have to do with Top Gear Australia to make it a success?"
So what do you think? Can Nine make TGA a brilliant show? And who should present it?

Even though I adore Jeremy... WARNEY??? OMG.
BTW, can we have a 'wacky races' tag please, mods?
